hi. hola. ciao. привет. salut. cześć. سلام.

Lisa Zecchinato is a multidisciplinary artist born in Lima, Peru. She began working in portraiture in 2012 with large-format oil paintings of expressionist faces, first exhibited in Belgrade, Serbia. After a near-fatal accident in 2018, her practice turned toward her own body: photography, fashion design, and digital art became tools for documenting — with deliberate sarcasm — the reconstruction of a face she no longer recognized. Her ongoing series Lisa Goes to the Skytranslates that process through experimental printing: passport-booth portraits, artisanal serigraphy on glass, and metal structures that echo the plates inside her face. In 2024, her practice expanded into furniture art: sculptural pieces in surgical steel and cowhide that carry the logic of reconstruction into functional objects. Her work asks what remains of identity when the body that certifies it has to be rebuilt. She lives and works in Lima.
